Services<br><br>Source: Missouri School for the Blind, Outreach Services<br><br>Intended Audience: Administrators of teams serving students with visual impairment<br><br>Date: August 23, 2013<br><br>Assessment and technical assistance in the areas of vision education and orientation and mobility are available from Outreach Services at Missouri School for the Blind (MSB) at no charge to Local Education Agencies and State Board Operated Programs. A Vision Supervisor is available to provide functional vision and learning media assessments, yielding information as to how a student's educational performance is affected by visual impairment. Orientation and mobility assessments are offered to assess a student's safety and independence in travel. Technical assistance is available for information and resources regarding a variety of topics including adaptations to the learning environment, modifications of materials, instructional
strategies, and the Expanded Core Curriculum.
