Hi all,

Did you watch the Rock Center story on Good Will and how people with
disabilities are paid less than minimum wage? Did you know there is a
large list of organizations who have or are i line to receive a certificate
from the Department of Labor to pay disabled workers pennies per hour?
Well, the National Federation of the Blind is working to stop this
discriminatory practice.

Please sign the petition to stop the payment of subminimum wages to workers
with intelectual and developmental disabilities! You can find our petition
at:
www.nfb.org/fair-wages-petition

In addition you can call your U.S. Representative and urge them to support
the Fair Wages for Workers with Disabilities Act of 2013. You can also
call on Senator Al Franken and Senator Amy Klobuchar to support (or even
sponsor) a companion bill in the U.S. Senate.

No one deserves to be paid pennis per hour!
