The following announcement and information comes from Judy Sanders,
president of our Seniors' Division:

 

Many of you have heard about the Virtual Senior Retreat.  Those of you who
are seniors may want to consider attending this year's activity. And if you
are not yet old enough to partake in this event please encourage your older
friends to do it.

 

I will summarize some of the details but a more comprehensive document
follows.

 

WHEN: January 22-26, 2023.

 

Who is eligible? Any senior who is dealing with blindness or progressive
vision changes.

 

What will happen? There will be classes in such things as cooking and other
skills in the home; accessible technology; shopping in person or through
online services; long white cane skills; and more.

 

WHERE? Anywhere and everywhere on Zoom!

 

How much does it cost? $50 payable to the NFB Senior Division.

 

There are more details that have been shared with our national membership
and we have added that information below.
