Our Walk for Opportunity Committee has asked me to remind you that we need
participants to register by August 27. Part of this process determines how
many T-shirts are needed and our walk is only two weeks from this Saturday.
Also, please note other important information here as well.
Registering
You can get more information and register online by going do
42nd Annual Walk for Opportunity Fund-Raiser
<https://nfbmn.org/42nd-annual-walk-opportunity-fund-raiser> .
Promote on Social Media
There is now a FaceBook event in place as well which can be used to promote
our walk on social media. By saying you are attending and referencing the
event, the Walk for Opportunity will reach your friends and may result in
additional donations.
Donating Online
There are a number of ways to donate and they are described on the web page
given above. The easiest way, though, is to go to our home page at
http://www.nfbmn.org
and click on "donate." In the dedication field, put in the name of the
person for whom you are pledging and also "Walk for Opportunity."
Thank you to our sponsors
These sponsors, which include businesses run by our own members, have made
significant donations toward the success of this event. Thank you very
much.
