I hope this message finds you doing well. 

 

The Minesota Association of Blind Students will soon start our monthly webinar on blindness philosophy for students titled “Thriving Without Sight.” I would like to invite you all to join us. 

 

The webinar will be a Socratic discussion where students will have the opportunity to seek the floor and discuss what they think after the MNABS student moderator introduces a variety of prompts. 

 

We will host the first of these monthly Zoom meetings today—Sunday, October 6—from 7:00pm to 8:30pm CDT.

 

During our first webinar, we will discuss how students handle their blindness while living  in a sighted world. We will also discuss what alternative techniques we as blind students use to travel and what our different mobility tools mean to us.
