>support group for any blind seniors where 
>everyone could share their experiences relating 
>to their blindness and where she promoted 
>relevant activities about the NFB. In her mid 
>nineties her energy was boundless.

>Bonnie attended a couple of NFB state 
>conventions and spoke at our senior meetings. 
>She always emphasized how important it was for 
>us to stick together and encourage each other.

>She attended two of the NFB Senior Division’s 
>virtual retreats where everyone spent one very 
>full week on Zoom taking classes about cane 
>travel, home management, assistive technology 
>and other alternatives to using one’s vision. 
>These retreats are captured on a thumb drive and 
>Bonnie listened to each one several times.
