the BHL, sent out a press release, honoring blinded vets. In that
release, one of the blinded veteran's mentioned was Monroe Fox, the
attorney from Chama, New Mexico. Today's release of <i>"The

,</i> you can read the details of his life, before and after being
blinded in an explosion in WWII.<br>

This is the latest edition to the continuing series of stories of the
blind men and women that have almost been lost to our history. Many
of our blind ancestors have contributed to their communities, raised
families, invented products that we all use today and have no idea we owe
it all to a blind person. Watch for upcoming stories from The Blind
History Lady that will astonish the reader on the many barriers
that society put in the way of some of our blind ancestors, yet they went
on to contribute and build up their communities to the benefit of us
