Greetings, fellow Federationists,<br>

Our semiannual convention is a time when we all come together to recharge

our batteries, see old friends, learn about the latest goings-on, and

plan for our future. While it is a lot of material packed into a small

space, it’s a powerful day of friendship and advocacy you will want to be

a part of. I invite you all to our headquarters in Minneapolis for the

semiannual convention on May 19.<br>

We come together to learn from one another, and we will do that this

year. We will hear about Jennifer Dunnam’s trip to Ireland and her

reflections on her experience, check in with the staff and students of

BLIND Inc., host a workshop on the IEP process, and much more. But we

will also plan and strategize. We will work together to determine how we

can help more people understand that they can live the lives they want,

and we will generate ideas on how to continue to grow our movement. If

you need information, we will be there for you. If you have knowledge to

share, we look forward to hearing from you.<br>
