The deadline, for both rooms and pre-registration, is November 9just two

days from now. And remember: If you pre-register for the convention and

book your hotel early, your name will be placed in a drawing for a free

suite upgrade. Let’s get those last-minute registrations in.<br>

I am finalizing the agenda and we’re making preparations. You will not

want to miss the 2018 convention. It is possible to reserve your room

online, but the website isn’t fantastic with screenreaders. Even so,

those who would rather not talk on the phone to someone can go to

If you would prefer to call in your reservation, you can call the hotel

at (320) 253-0606 and choose option 4 from the menu. Keep the following

in mind as you book your hotel:

<li>Room rates are $99 plus tax for singles through quads.

<li>Plan to check in on Nov. 16 and out on Nov. 18.

<li>There is no fee for reserving your room, but you will be required to

hold it with a credit or debit card.

<li>Be sure to mention that you are with the National Federation of the

Blind of Minnesota, or you won’t be subject to our convention rate.

</ul>You will not want to miss this convention. Make your hotel

reservation now to make sure you’re part of the action.<br>

In addition, there is still time to pre-register for the convention.

Those wishing to register online can go to

information, meal preferences, and payment. Remember, too, that we are

offering a special incentive to pre-register this year. If you

pre-register on or before Nov. 9, your name will be placed in a drawing

to receive one of three free suite upgrades. These rooms are perfect for

convention gatherings or just to spread out a bit and be more

comfortable. Pre-register now and get your convention on in style.<br>
