Federation family,<br>

I received word this evening that Jim Sarbacker, a long-time member, has

been admitted to the hospital. He has experienced severe hearing loss,

and while the doctors are not yet sure what has caused the problem, he

suspects he may have had a stroke. Even so, I spoke for some time with

Jim tonight, and he is soldiering on. He says that anyone interested is

welcome to call or visit, and he would be grateful for the company.<br>

He is staying at HCMC in downtown Minneapolis. The address is 730 S. 8th

St., and he is in room 421. The nurse I spoke with said visitors should

use the emergency department doors, go up to the fourth level, and go to

the surgical trauma neuro unit. Jim’s room phone number is 612-873-0152

for those wishing to call him. He asks that people call before they visit

in case he is undergoing a consult or a session in the hyperbaric

chamber.<br>

Please keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers, and please consider calling

or visiting him in this time of need.<br>
