Fellow federationists,<br>

As many of you may know, one of our largest state fundraisers is our

annual bake auction which takes place at our annual state convention.

This auction is an opportunity to show off your culinary talents and

sample the food-based flair of fellow federationists. Even though we call

it a bake auction, don’t worry. You don’t have to bake to take part. In

past years we’ve had homemade candies, snack mixes, and even homemade

pickles and jams. If you can cook it, and it doesn’t have to be

refrigerated, I’m certain someone will buy it.<br>

This year I have asked Charlotte Czarnecki, our talented auctioneer from

years past, to once again coordinate the bake auction. If you would like

to take part, here’s what we need:

<li>Email Charlotte at

bringing.

<li>On Saturday morning, before the general session begins, bring your

prepared items to the bake auction table at the front of the room.

<li>Throughout the course of the convention, you’ll have an opportunity

to bid on items fellow members have made.

</ol>That’s it. It’s that simple.<br>

I look forward to bidding on the wonderful items I know will be on

auction, and I appreciate the work you will do help raise funds for the

National federation of the Blind of Minnesota.<br>
