<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">We’re pleased to announce that Kia Yang has been selected to join SSB in the WDU Rehabilitation Teacher position. Kia has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience teaching independent living skills to individuals
of all ages who are blind and Deafblind. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Kia has experience teaching daily living skills, assistive technology, and braille. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, is a certified rehabilitation instructor, and speaks Hmong as a second
language. Her most recent position is as the Home Management Instructor at BLIND Inc. Before coming to Minnesota she taught independent living skills in Colorado.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">We believe Kia brings a unique blend of skill, knowledge, and experience to this position and we’re excited to welcome her to the WDU team. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
