Greetings, fellow Federationists,<br>

The Minnesota State Legislature is back in session, which means it’s time

for us to once again take to the halls of the capitol in St. Paul. On

Feb. 27, we will meet with our senators and representatives, and we will

advocate for meaningful change for all blind Minnesotans. I urge you to

attend this momentous event and to stand and make your voice heard.<br>

First, though, we need to lay the groundwork. Before the big day, please

contact your local senator and representative and schedule a meeting with

them. If there are multiple NFB members in your district, and you are not

certain if an appointment has already been scheduled, please contact Judy

Sanders at 612-375-1625 to confirm before you call.<br>

On Feb. 27<sup>th</sup>, we will meet in room 500 North in the State

Office Building at 8:00 AM. From there we will distribute fact sheets,

answer questions, and split into teams to begin our work.<br>

This is one of the most crucial tasks we undertake each year, and it is

vital that we have as many people as we can participating. More than

that, however, this is your chance to be a part of the truly amazing work

we do to help all blind Minnesotans live the lives we want. I look

forward to seeing all of you on Feb. 27.<br>
