<h3><b>Accessible Absentee Voting Now Available in Minnesota
</b></h3><br><br>
Thanks to our tireless advocacy,
<a href="https://www.sos.state.mn.us/about-the-office/news-room/secretary-of-state-announces-new-tools-for-voters-with-disabilities/">
an accessible voting option</a> is now available to all blind
Minnesotans. There is still time to vote independently, even if you do
not feel comfortable voting in person. A comprehensive how-to guide will
be published by October 23 at

<h3><b>Join Upcoming Presidential Releases </b></h3><br><br>
Our nationwide federation family is coming together again November and
December 1<sup>st</sup> for our newest tradition, a live presidential
release.

Life!</b></h3><br><br>
Although we are unable to be together in person for our 100th anniversary
celebration, we would like to put together a photo collage showing the
faces of all who attended. Therefore we would be ever so much obliged if
you would, no later than November 1, send a picture showing your

<h3><b>Calling for All Door Prizes! </b></h3><br><br>
We may not be meeting in the same room this year but everyone who has
registered will be eligible to win a door prize for just showing up to
our fall convention. If you have a door prize to donate, please reach out

<h3><b>Are you a Writer?</b></h3><br><br>
The Metro Chapter is once again sponsoring the much anticipated, annual
essay contest. The task is simple: write about your experience as a blind
person. This could be reflections on our philosophy, a pivotal experience
growing up as a blind person, or a vignette about how COVID-19 is
impacting your experience moving through the world. The winner will
receive a $75 cash prize, and other eligible entries will be entered into
a drawing for an additional prize. The winning entry and other select
pieces will be published in the Minnesota Bulletin. All essays must be
between two and five pages and submitted by October 25 as a Microsoft
Word document to Kathy McGillivray at
