In partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health and Walmart,

BLIND, Inc. is working to register individuals 65 and over who are

persons with disability (PWD) and/or BIPOC for COVID-19 vaccination

appointments for two events. The vaccination events are taking place at

the Walmart Supercenter in Brooklyn Center (1200 Shingle Creek Crossing,

Brooklyn Center, MN 55430) on Friday, March 5th and 12th. BLIND, Inc.

continues to partner through the COVID Community Coordinators initiative

with Transportation Plus (+) to provide at no cost transportation within

the 7 county metro area to and from the vaccination event. <br><br>

 <br><br>

While not serving as a first come first serve scheduling, there are

limited appointments available to BLIND, Inc. Should the vaccination

allotment to BLIND, Inc. not be maxed out by midday Wednesday prior to

the events, the category will be opened to individuals 65 and over

outside of the PWD and BIPOC community. This event has a closed

registration, meaning that for an individual to participate they must be

registered through a participating CCC, such as BLIND, Inc. If you are
