You’re Invited to Join Us for Our Virtual Semiannual Convention!<br><br>

Dear Members and Friends of the NFB of Minnesota,<br><br>
I’m writing to invite you to our 2021 spring convention, which will once
again be held virtually rather than in-person. The 2021 Semiannual
Convention will take place on Saturday, May 22 from 9 AM to 4 PM.
<br><br>
In light of the ongoing public health crisis, the Board of Directors
opted to hold our Spring convention on Zoom again this year instead of
gathering at a physical space. Because of the capabilities of this
system, however, we will still be able to have both our business meeting
as well as break-out sessions.<br><br>
Our agenda will include holding our annual election of delegates to our
National Convention, calling for pledges to the tenBroek Fund, and
planning for future conventions and meetings. There will be other
interesting activities and surprises as well that you won't want to miss,
so stay tuned for the full agenda.<br><br>

virtual convention</a> is free! Please spread the word to anyone you feel
would be interested in learning more about us and the work we do. When we
receive your registration, we will send you information about how to
connect to the meeting, which you can do either by calling on a
telephone, using your computer, or joining via a smartphone app.

Many will recall that last year, we changed our bylaws so that our
membership year corresponds to the calendar year and extended all dues
paid last year through the end of 2021. If you renewed your annual
membership in the NFB of Minnesota last year, then your membership is
current through 2021, and you are all set for now! If you did not renew
last year or wish to join for the first time, You can

renew your NFBMN membership here</a> (annual dues are just $5). Only
members may vote at the convention, but all are welcome to attend

ideas. </b>Together, we will continue to spread the truth that blindness
is not what holds us back, and forge a bright future for blind people of
