If you haven’t done so yet, please review the process and make a donation if you can. Remember that AIRA is also mathinc donations so this means each dollar you donate will result in three dollars. Also note that you will be placed in a drawing for an all expense paid convention trip next year.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This is the time of the year when we encourage donations to our national funds by providing a matching donation from the NFB of Minnesota. There is still time for each dollar to be turned into a three dollar donation. You could also win an all expense paid trip to the convention in 2024. Please read the details from our treasurer, Jennifer Dunnam, shown below:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>All:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>In lieu of pledges to the tenBroek fund as our affiliate did for many years, a decision was made by the 2021 annual convention that the National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota will now match individual contributions made by Minnesota Federationists to our national White cane, Jernigan, Sun, and tenBroek funds between May 1 and June 30 up to a total of $6,000 (that is, up to $6,000 from individuals is matched by up to $6,000 from the affiliate treasury).<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>Starting May 1, your contributions to our funds will be matched if you donate in either of two possible ways: <o:p></o:p></span></p><h2><span style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>Donate online<o:p></o:p></span></h2><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>1. use this link to </span><a href="https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=25626&qid=7109885"><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>make your donation online by credit card</span></a><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>, placing the dollar amounts in the fund or funds you wish. Send the check to National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota, 100 East 22nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55404.
