Although some of the information below was in our convention notice, I
want to remind everybody of our auction that will be occurring throughout
Saturday and Sunday at our convention. Here is some information
provided by our auction chairperson, Charlotte Czarnecki.<br><br>

Our president has asked me to chair the auction committee and I am
honored to do so again this year. So, we need to have a few things
in place to we can have a successful auction. First, we need people
to donate baked goods, theme baskets, services, or your crafts. I
am requesting baked good to be securely sealed preferably in a disposable
or plastic container. This will prevent your fine work from being
crushed in transit. I am requesting that you put Braille
labels on your items which should contain a description of what they are
and how much of it is in the container. It would also be helpful if
you would send a short description to me as well so we have an idea of
the number of items we will have in our auction. If you are unable
to make Braille labels, I can make them for you if you request that
when you send me the brief description of your item. Braille
supplies will be available for last minute donations but it is so helpful
if we know you will need help with labels before we go to convention so
that we are not scrambling to make a bunch of labels Saturday

Second, it’s always a lot of fun when people help me auction off
items. I’d like to find as many volunteer auctioneers in advance so
that we can be as efficient as possible in between presentations.
