I didn't see this here and am forwarding.  We are very sorry to have to announce that the holiday party has had to be 
cancelled again this year, this time for plumbing problems.  We are all disappointed.

Dear Minnesota Federationists:

This message pertains to members of the Metro Chapter, but Sheila
Koenig has asked me to send it out to the state list for purposes of
efficiency.  I am very sorry to have to tell you that we must cancel
tomorrow's Metro chapter holiday party.  A plumbing situation has
developed in our building that requires the water to be shut off over
the weekend.

Because of other events next weekend, it will not be possible to
re-schedule  the party this year.  Everyone has been working hard to
make it a great party, and this is certainly a bummer, as they say,
but we know everyone will find other ways to make the holidays festive
and happy.     Thanks so much to all.
