[Mn-parents] Youth Panel at NFB of Minnesota State Convention

Dear Parents,

Many of you have probably received a mailing about our upcoming state convention next weekend in Bloomington at 
the Ramada Mall of America hotel.  However, I want to let you know that at 2:00 next Saturday, October 8, we will 
have a panel of kids talking about their experiences at various summer programs.  This will include experiences at our 
science-focused Youth Slam in Baltimore.Also, at 1:30, before the afternoon session, we will have an informal meeting 
of all parents who are present to discuss current challenges and how we can best meet them.  We will meet in the same room where the general session meets.  
The hotel desk will be able to direct you.

Even though I have only mentioned these specific items, please know you are welcom at any convention session.  
There will be numerous speakers including representatives of State Services for the blind, the Minnesota Braille and 
Talking Book library in Faribault, and the Minnesota State Academy for the blind to mention but a few.  I hope to have 
the opportunity to meet many of you next week.
