behalf of the Monadnock Regional Coordinating Council on
Transportation (MRCC). The deadline to RSVP for this event is the

Please see important message below from Ellen Avery, Chair, Monadnock
Regional Coordinating Council (MRCC):



Greetings MRCC Members and Friends of Community Transportation in the region
~



Would you come to a meeting that is figuring out how to spend $530,000, over
the next 18-20 months, with a focus on expanding transportation options,
improving health access and strengthening collaborations. The funding is
already confirmed for the MRCC to distribute.



New Hampshire is fortunate to be part of a CDC National Initiative to
Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk &
Underserved, Including Racial and Ethnic Minority Populations and Rural
Communities. This funding will come through the NH Division of Public Health
Services/Rural Health. As we all know, lack of transportation is a major
barrier to maintaining one's health.



This month's Monadnock Region Coordinating Council for Community
Transportation (MRCC) meeting is on Tuesday, December 21 from 9:00 a.m. to
noon. It will be conducted through Zoom. We will forgo our usual business
meeting. The focus will be on generating project ideas for the Rural
Transportation Equity Funding. Details will be sent out to you ahead of
time, yet we want you to get this on your calendar and to let us know you
will participate.
