[musictlk] Logic Express Or Protools - Accessibility Question

Hi. PT9 does not require an interface. However, for best results, you'd
want to use another audio device for voiceover output. For example, you
could use a thirty dollar USB headset for voiceover output.

There are included plug ins with pro tools 9 and there are various free plug
ins and virtual instruments online. Waves and many other companies have
decent basic packages for a reasonable price, or, you can buy individual
plug ins.

Cameron.

I sorta get it.
Not clearly, but I get the general idea.
My question would be then, are these plugins free?

Also, is it true you would not need an interphase now with Protools 9?
