I really don't think any one else is going to be using one. We are a good
old fashind Rockand roll/ country band.
Just a little side note and some encouragement to any young musicians that
might be a bit frustrated with your progress or your opertunities.
Take it from an old timer that knows.
Never Never Never give up on your dreams if it is some thing that you really
want.
I will turhn 49 this February and have always dreamed of being in a gband
but never really got too serious about making it happen. My Brother who is 2
years older than me is a fantastic guitarist that has been playing in bands
since he was a teenager and has done very well.
I always was wishing I was up there on stage too when ever I went out to see
him play.
Well I never got in a band untill this fall.
I decided about 2 years ago that I was going to either learn to play good
enough to be in a band and find a band or put one together or I was going to
leave the idea in the rear view mirror for ever. I was trying to learn Lead
guitar and Low and behold I was offered a place as a bassist and did not
even know how to play the bass but I told the guy if he would take the time
with me to help me learn I would take the time to practice and learn the
songs.
Well as it turned out He tought me the chord progressions and a few little
bass runs for some songs that had some odd bass lines but out side of that I
pretty much sat down and figured a lot of it out myself.
well any way don't give up. I should be probably taking the stage with these
guys some time in March or April and we just started this past September.
To say I am excited about that is an understatement.
Robert

Hi Robert,
A music stand would not look out of place if others are using
them. But do it, if it's more convenient for you. It might be a
good conversation piece, and you could share about Braille.
Blessings,
Linda
