Why is it, that noone ever talks about Snooks Eaglin?
He was an awesome blues guitarist, from New Orleans, LA.
He was one of the first blind Blues guitarists, from New Orleans, that
really made an impact.
I just wonder if he was ever a part of the NFB.
I was impressed with his biography, and how much he traveled
independently, and would go all over the world!
He didn't let his disability, or his race keep him from achieving what
he did, in the fifties, in the segregated South.
Although he had two strikes against him, he was still able to overcome the odds.
If Snooks could do it, anyone of us can!
Case and point, he shouldn't be so overlooked, especially in the NFB.
