You know what is even more annoying, when I tell people I'm an Opera singer 
in my big bass voice and the first thing people always say is: Like Andrea 
Bocelli?
What makes them think of Andrea Bocelli? He isn't even Opera, he's classical 
cross over. He is Italian and I'm American, He is a tenor and I'm a bass and 
the only thing we have in common other than both being singers is we're 
blind.
We don't even sing the same songs! The only thing that would come close 
would be the Perl fisher's Duet.
It would be like me going up to Taylor Swift and asking if she was a singer 
like The lead singer of Garbage...
They're both women singers :)...

Wow!
Blindness should never be made fun of, or be marketed!
Ray Charles, Ronnie Milsap, Stevie Wonder, and others should be recognized 
as great musicians, and marketed as such.
They shouldn't have this blindness thing over their heads!
We're blind, and we're not ashamed of it, but please treat us as you would 
sighted musicians!

I remember my partner telling me that when he heard Stevie Wonder performing
on VH1, he heard a guy telling Stevie, "White people are useless when
they're blind! What kind of sick person would go so far as to say something
like that, I wonder?

I was listening to some Gospel music on Youtube, when I noticed this video.
It says, "Blind guitar player playing "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."
They didn't even mention his name, but they made a big deal out of his
blindness!
I wish people would view us as everyone else, and not make blindness such a
big deal!
