Very good point. I'm promoting very heavily (every Sunday in October) "Meet
the Blind Month" at my church and I made it a point to convey to the
congregation that blind people do not want to be identified by their
blindness, but that they are people who simply happen to be blind.
(I'm sighted, by the way.)

I was listening to some Gospel music on Youtube, when I noticed this video.
It says, "Blind guitar player playing "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."
They didn't even mention his name, but they made a big deal out of his
blindness!
I wish people would view us as everyone else, and not make blindness such a
big deal!
Good grief!
