Hello,
If you had to cover pop what would you cover? I'd not try to cover the whole
period, but possibly give a small sentence on the special things that only
happened in the baroque times, like castrati, then pull a piece from Bach or
Handel to give as an example of baroque music. You may also talk about all
the things they didn't have and how this was the time of musical invention
and the birth of notation and theory.
Thanks,

Subject: [musictlk] baroque period

Hi all,
For my extra credit report in AP European history, I'm doing a
brief power-point on the Baroque period. I am taking piano, so I
already know a bit about x; plus I'm doing research.
But my question is, what are some of the main things I should
cover if I only have a short time to talk about it?
Thanks,
Vejas
PS. Any good sites that you know of about this period?
