Good morning!
I just want to thank everyone that has respondeed to my email.
Your suggestions are very helpful.
To I want to teach piano. I am going to need to brush up on a
lot but I remember the scales and chords. So I am going to check
into some courses to get what I will need.
Linda mentioned that I am going to need Braille. Do you mean a
course in Braille music? I know that NLS offers something in that
but if there are other courses I will appreciate knowing that.
Thank you all and God bless.

planning to teach sighted students, you will need a working
knowledge of print music. If you're going to teach piano, you'll
need your course in Braille so that you can help your students
with note reading, rhythm, fingering, etc. So, firstly, decide
what you want to teach. You don't necessarily need a college
degree or college classes, but you must be proficient yourself
before you teach someone else. Set your price, call music stores
in your area and let the people there know you're available, tell
your church members. Just a few suggestions.
