Hello,
I like using my screen reader, much more than SAPI that is the thing, but it 
is up to you. I don't have a 32 bit machine, so sadly I can't use it.

It's designed to win32. (at this moment xp, me, 98)
Maybe someday will be on 64 bits.
You don't need to use any screen readers.
