[musictlk] Tips for Stringing a Guitar

I got a boss 280 tuner but can't get it to "chirp". I usually use a 
stringmaster robotic tuner but don't like taking it to gigs for fear it might get 
brokken so the boss seemed like a good option. What do I need to do to get it 
to make the noise when tuning?
