Andy,
I used Ernie Ball's once in my forty years of playing. That should
say enough about my opinion of them. For a very long time I used Martin Silk
& Steel, but now opt for the richer tones of the D'Addario EXP Lights!
Fraternally yours,
Marion

For my Yamaha 12-string, I like D'Addario strings. They have a nice bright
top and a clean rich low. But, I prefer the Martin "Silk and Steel" (gray
set). For my Yamaha classical guitar, I will only use Augustine "black".
Those also are very nicely balanced, top to bottom -- crisp and very
sonorous -- the harmonics speak very clearly, even when the strings are
stretched and stressed (I can get a clear tone up to the 9th partial). For
my Fender stratocaster, I am still searching for the perfect string set, but
I'm not a fan of "Ernie Ball".

Timothy,
I use D'Addario EXP Extra Light. I play a lot and they last me about
6 months per set, a lot longer than standard strings. I have seen them as
high as $20/set, but where I get all my supplies, they cost about $15.
Awesome strings and great sound!
Marion

y'all should check out d'addario strings.
they're amazing.
they are amazing in the fact that they have twang and they also can have a
metal sound. i absolutely love them. if you are just starting out on guitar
or if you are a pro guitarist i still would tell you to try out d'addario
strings.
well worth the price and while worth the getting use to as once you play
them you'll never want to leave that brand. i love them.
check them out today.
by the way, i don't work with d'addario. planning on endorsing them but i
don't work with them.
god bless
Timothy
