[musictlk] chicken picking

Right!
Once you get really comfortable with the pick, you can "palm" it and do all
sorts of stuff with the fingers, and you can use the pick in conjunction
with the fingers to produce all sorts of great timbres and styles. I rarely
use a thumb pick anymore, because the regular pick is just such a part of my
playing. I like to be able to throw the pick down on the floor, finger-pick
a little bit, then grab a new one from the caddy (I have two caddies on my
guitar, one for soft picks and one for harder picks).
Something to think about...
Sincerely,
Andy English

so, i just realized, this is a really old thread but andy, there's a way to
do it with a pick and fingers at once.
it's a lot easier to do it.
then you get into hybrid picking as well.
anyway. hope it helps.
