You were quite close.  First of all, you use the right hand sign to
start the music.  Thats OK by BMC, but currently it also expects a
left-hand sign in another paragraph.  Also, you had a stray right-hand
sign in between two measures.  BMC can handle hand signs in mids of a
measure, but in this case, you substituted the barline sign (space) by
the hand sign, which leads to two measures being parsed as one.
Also, you have two music end signs in your music.  That leads to two
parts being created, likely not what you really wanted.  I have edited
your example a bit so that it works.  Maybe you can pick up from here?
