What city do you live in?
Also, having a Master's Degree in vocal performance, I can't believe that
voice lessons on line would ever work.
When I first started at the American Conservatory of Music, the dean was
very hesitent. After I shows him by getting almost all As in the first
simester, he sort of changed his tune.
As blind people, we have to work two up to three times as hard to get what
we want and where we are going. I can tell you first hand, it is well worth
it.
If you have an additional questions, you can contact me off line.

Subject: [musictlk] Question, suggestions or recommendations on voice
lessons?
Hi, first of all, please forgive me in putting this message as a reply to a
previous thread. I'm still learning to use my phone, and this was the way I
was able to post to this list.
I've been studding Opera off and on for 6 years or so, but had to give it
up due to lack of funds. I've heard of taking voice lessons online, but
wonder how well It'd work. I've heard mixed reviews. I know for me in the
past, there were some things to improve the voice that would be hard to
explain with out hands on training. But don't know. Then there is price to
consider. Are there any grants for vocal studdy. I started to go to school
to persue a degree in music therapy, but had a hard time having my program
funded. I saw someone posted a question about that. All I can say is good
luck to you. I know with me, people saw me more as a liability rather than
an assit. That may be due to the fact I live in a big city. Well, forgive
my rambling. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Blessings, and kind regards.
