Just finished setting up my Marshall mg50cfx series amp and I must admit 
the controls are very friendly. With a 4 button footswitch I can have 4 amp 
settings and 4 effects setting just on the amp alone. Combined with my boss 
me70 and the audio spectrum is amazing. For live performance the 50 or 100 
will handle anything while the 15 and 30 are probably best suited for studio or 
rehersals.
