Hi. The Boss ME80 has decent effects, amp modeling if you want it, and
can be used as a recording interface with a computer. It has eight
footswitches and a built in expression pedal as well. It is tactile
friendly unlike the offerings from line 6 and Digitech etc. Your
output can be mono or stereo and you can switch the amp modeling on or
off depending on what you're sending the signal to. Also, you can have
presets setup to switch between, or, you can run it in manual mode so
you'd get four effects that you can turn on and off individually...

It's not a t.c electronic g system or nova system, but, it's very good
for what it is.
