[musictlk] Reading Your Descriptions

Hi Marissa,
I'm sorry to hear that NLS isn't giving you the resources you need.
It's annoying when you can't get a book you want to just read for
leisure but when it's something you really need, that's really
frustrating to say the least!

There is a number of Braille Music teachers on this list who would be
happy to give you one-to-one help and support so you don't have to
struggle like this. Some of us provide a free consultation so you
could at least see what learning with someone to help you is really
like. Geography is no longer the issue it used to be because most will
either teach you virtually, (via Skype or telephone), while others can
come to your home. Finance isn't the elephant in the room because
Braille Music Teachers' fees vary and I'm sure most of us can be
creative with how to spread cost of this vital service to visually
impaired musicians

Very best wishes,
Sandra.
