Maybe not, but that doesn't mean you can't take voice lessons in one, 
if that's where the teacher teaches. Often the church leadership will 
let their members for such things. A church is a public place, and 
the teacher may be able to use his or her church at no charge. If 
that person is the choir director there, he or she may have an office 
in which he or she would do the teaching.
