[musictlk] question

Hello Anne,
I'm a Soprano Singer and, while I have nerves, I channel the energy I
get from them to give the performance my audiences deserve!

Everyone is different so it would be wrong to give you a "one size
fits all" answer. Some people need to be calm before a performance,
others need to feel energised, driven forward by a force and ready to
go. Some people find it helpful to imagine the audience in a dignity
compromising situation; thinking about the audience without their
clothes on etc. I'd suggest pretending you're alright and see what
happens. It sounds odd but I do this. I acknowledge that what I'm
about to do is frightening but that's not the audience's problem so I
pretend I'm just great, then, when I sing, I am!

Very best wishes,
Sandra.
