[musictlk] choir question

Hi,
My name is Jackie and I'm new to the list.
I'm currently in high school and I participate in a choireand am
thinking of doing one outside of school.
I am also going to join a musical theatre class next year.
I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind answering a few questions.
I'm trying to leann my choral and some solo pieces for choir and
musical theatre respectively, but I don't know how to go about it. Do
you have any suggestions?
Also, I was wondering if any of you have ever done plays or musicals?
If so, how have you learned the musical ppieces, lines, or dances that
might be involved?
