I myself am interested in some of the IOS recording apps, but I don't have
any particular order or preference. If it happens then great, if not, I know
how things sometimes have to be put on the back burner. Take care and thanks
for allowing us to make this kind of request.

Subject: [musictlk] What podcasts would help you most?

As a few of you probably know me, you might know that over the last few
months I've done a couple podcasts on sound synthesis techniques for the
blind. There are, it seems, suddenly so many new avenues for us to
manipulate sound and music accessibly, though there is still so much ground
left to cover, that I find I'm going to be doing, well, a whole bunch of
podcasting. I'm so excited about Reaper that it's going to be one of the
first things I cover in depth, and believe me I'll cover every aspect of
this program I can learn. If I have to do two two-hour podcasts on it, than
that's what it takes. The question is, is the podcast needed or do you guys
have a good handle on it, and if you want the podcast, what topics do you
want covered specifically? (I'm still learning, but I'm pretty good at
finding what I need to know.) Also, I'll be covering iPhones apps like
Songbird, Noatikl, Alchemy Synth, Garage Band, Thumbjam, and whatever is
asked of me. If there is an order to these apps you'd like to learn about,
if one is more important for you than another, I'd be glad to hear your
feedback about that too. I am also willing to do a podcast about the Yamaha
mx61 if any of you have that particular board, as instruments design on it
is mostly straightforward.
