When I do a solo in the middle of the choral peace, I just usually stand at
my choir chair. If my solo is not with the choir, I go up to the piano and
put my right hand on the piano to keep me from not mooving around.

I have a question for you who sing solos, especially choral solos:

When you sing a choral solo from the choir, does it help you to have a music
stand in front of you as you would when you sing a solo, vs. standing in
front of the chair with your leg against it. In other words, do you like to
have a music stand in front of you to give you more balance and stability?
Your thoughts,
Anne
