I think you are right. People like that seem to never get it. How can a
person lie that become a minister?

As I said in my previous email,

Hi,
I usually say "she's right here. You can talk to her directly" or something
like that.

The other evening I went to a new life group at our church and my friend and
I were late. The leader didn't even stop his lesson to acknowledge us.
Later, he went around the room to get peoples' ideas about something and he
skipped me. I was not impressed so when they were done with that I said
"there's another person here who didn't get her turn." And *then* his wife
called on me, but he never did. And he's one of our ministers in training. I
guess he needs more training.
Thanks
Lauren

I have a question for you.
I am a singer, and soloist in my church. Being that I'm blind with no
visual contact, sometimes someone will say something like "tell her I
enjoyed her music," and I'm standing right there. I think it's because they
don't have eye contact with me. I should probably just speak back to them
myself. That's insulting to me, but I know it's a visual communication
barrier.
Please give me your thoughts.
Thanks,
Anne
