[musictlk] tuner

I have the same app. It does
not work wel at all for me. I
play the same note repeatedly
and it can't seem to decide if
it is flat or sharp. The same
pitch seems to produce
different results. Has anybody
had a similar experience? Am I
doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Sean

I have used the Boss TU-80 and
it works very well. I am
currently using the mobile app
HotPaw Talking tuner. I think
I paid 2.99 - maybe 1.99 - but
it was worth whatever I paid
for it. It not only talks the
note, it tells you if it is
sharp or flat and by how much.

Fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala

In fact, as I read more, it
sounds like the feature is
what Boss calls "accu-pitch"
where it beeps the pitch, on
pitch, when in tune and
several models offer it. Some
are discontinued some seem to
still be available.

impression from the youtube
video I just listened to about
it is that it is beeping from
the tuner, not an output that
might be passed to an amp or
headphones. I'm not certain
how to check further on that.
Only $30 though, so might be
worth a shot.
