Why did Louis Braille write eight notes with the dot numbers that he
did?  I can find a pattern for braille every not value, such as
quarter notes add dot 6 to the eighth note, etc.; I can't find the
pattern for the reason for brailling eighth notes as he did, even
though the Braille music system is supposed to be a logical system.
