[MusicTlk] help with modelling guitar amps

The trick with any of these units generally speaking is effect order. So while you may be able to say create your own sound and layer effects accessibly, Lets say you want to put the compressor after the distortion instead of in front of it, that’s the part that will. Usually get tricky. That is providing of course that the unit in question even lets you re-arrange the effect order, as not all will. 
These days I am using a different Boss unit myself that being the GT-1000, (there is also the GT-1000 Core which is a smaller and less expensive unit, but still has all the same processing power). But if you already have an amp you like it maybe overkill if you don’t care for amp modeling. 
Another option is just getting a few individual pedals and maybe a switcher that lets you save presets. 
Also regarding returns, even if a store won’t schedule the UPS pickup for you once you have the return label you can call UPS schedule it with UPS yourself.
