[MusicTlk] Keyboard Recommendations

Hi,
I do quite a bit with Yamaha myself. There aren't any of the ones I've owned that I would consider totally accessible but there are ways of memorizing buttons, menus, and keeping text notes ETC to make it work for me.
I have a YPG 225, 2 of the YPG235 76 key keyboards and I just got a PSR-EW410. The YPG 235 has been around for a number of years now.

Many of the controls on the PSR-410 are pretty much 1-button-1-function, although it does have menu driven parameters for things like changing balance, volume and other settings for the styles and voices that are not very accessible.

I am able to split and layer voices,, change tempo, transpose, record songs, record samples, customize the styles and voices to some extend and quite a few other things.

I have a Roland E-A17 that's supposed to be delivered next week. It has 156 buttons so I'm sure hoping it'll be mostly accessible.

I'm not sure if you can still buy the YPG235 new but there are probably lots of used ones around. I paid $200 for the last one I bought about 5 years ago.
The PSR-410 is newer and it goes for about $400.
The Roland E-A17 I bought for $1400.

HTH,
StanB

I have a Yamaha P105 which is a full sized piano but it’s a digital keyboard has hammer action weighted keys has several tactile buttons should come with a piano pedal but I bought one that actually feels like a piano pedal from Yamaha. It also comes with a bench.
