First thanks for getting back so quickly.second, no clue what any of what you mention is but it gives me something specific to research.
And yes, from what I saw on the Boss site there are a ton of downloadable patches for the me-80.

The ME 80 lets you up date it? Wasn’t aware of that. Anyway, a basic two input audio interface would work. The Behringer 202HD is probably the best bang for the buck option but Focusrite, 2i2 and SSL2+ are good options as well. As for monitors the iLoud Micro monitors are small and doesn’t take up a lot of room and still sound great, but the Kali Audio Lp6’s and Adam T5 are other I hear great things about.
