[MusicTlk] accessible banjo/guitar tuner

I am still in search for a banjo/guitar tuner that I can use in a noisy
environment with my iPhone or stand alone.  I use the Talking Tuner on my
iPhone, but in a noisy environment, it is difficult to tune up.

 

I was looking for a  tuner that would work with my iPhone or just
stand-alone.  Maybe a  clip-on type via  a cable or Bluetooth  connection.
I just tried the Roadie 3  from Band Industries and I am sending it back.
It did not tune very well and ended up breaking one of my banjo strings

 

I know there are many folks who just use their ears, and that is great, for
those who can do that.  I am not one of those people.

 

Any suggestions for a reliable tuner that can work in a noisy environment?
