[MusicTlk] accessible banjo/guitar tuner

Steve,
Thanks for the response.

As my original inquiry indicated I tried the Roadie 3. Although it had some accessibility functions, it did not tune my banjo correctly. Most of the strings were tuned sharp. It was hard to hold on to because it would jerk back and forth during the tuning process. Also it busted my fifth string while I was home in a quiet environment. I have this fear that when I am out at a jam session, in a noisy environment, I'll bust a string and then spend the next 10 - 15 minutes restringing my banjo.

I did see some posts in another forum that provided high praise for the accessibility of the Roadie 3. Just did not work on my banjo. I did not try it out on my guitar, because I usually will have my banjo out at a jam session.

The Roadie tuner may be worth a look. Last I heard the app had some accessibility issues, but if you are in standard tuning you shouldn really need the app much once it’s set up. Not sure how it works with Banjo tuners though. May be worth reaching out to the company to find out.
